Steven Paul Simancek

Steven Paul Simancek, 70, passed away after an extended illness on May 16, 2024 in
Baltimore, Maryland.  He was born on April 8, 1954 to the late Walter Charles Simancek
and Elnora Ann Simancek (Kulikowski) of Baltimore, Maryland.

Steven is survived by his loving siblings: Diana E. Devine (Simancek), Valeria A. Sapia
(Simancek), Pamela R. Simancek, Donna M. Regester (Simancek) and Anthony W.
Simancek.  Steven was predeceased by his brothers, Walter E. Simancek and Daniel W.
Simancek.  

Steven graduated from Patterson High School (Baltimore, Md).  He had a long career in
the shipbuilding industry at Sparrows Point Shipyard.  He enjoyed boating, water
sports, bicycle rebuilding, model building, trains (real and model) and
reading—particularly books on the history of World War II. 

Steven will be laid to rest next to his parents at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 6515 Boston
St, Baltimore, MD, 21224 on May 21, 2024 at 11:30am during a tribute with family and
friends that includes prayers and readings.
