Robert Michael Becker, Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Michael Becker Sr., who departed this life on June 8, 2024, at the age of 63. Robert was born on May 19, 1961, to the late Joyce Carolyn Kirk and Gary Eugene Becker Sr.

Robert, affectionately known as "Mike" to his family and friends, is survived by his children, Kelly Becker and Robert Michael Becker Jr., and leaves behind a legacy of four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will always remember their "Poppy" with fondness. They brought immense joy to his life.

​

He is also survived by his dear sisters, Patricia J.Steven and Tina M.Taylor.  Michael will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Barbra Becker, who was by his side during his many struggles in his life as well as his final moments. Additionally, Michael will be remembered by his brother-in-law, Keven Steven, and his friend, Rhonda Lopez and Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary E. Becker Jr. and Bruce W. Becker, whom he held close to his heart throughout his life.

​

Michael was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding great happiness in spending time with his family. He had a profound love for fishing, often sharing serene moments by the water with his loved ones. Michael also enjoyed taking cruises, creating cherished memories on the open sea with those he held dear.

​

His family meant everything to him, and he was never happier than when surrounded by their love and laughter. Michael's warm presence, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

​

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a family gathering at a later date.
