Robert Lee Pruitt

Robert Lee Pruitt, 80, of North East, Maryland, passed away at home on September 19, 2023. He was born March 24, 1943, to Clarence and Nina Pruitt.
 

Robert, the most loving and devoted husband, brother, and uncle, was survived by his wife, Sandy Pruitt; sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Kevin Riordan; nieces and nephew Rachel, Jack, and Hannah Riordan; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Steve Olah and son-in-law Gene Knowles. Roberts first wife, Susie Pruitt, preceded him in death.
 

Upon graduation from the University of Maryland, Robert worked in the public

sector, received his CPA license, and then worked his remaining years self employed. Robert enjoyed bowling and watching sports, especially the Orioles; he loved watching his favorite Western movies and spending time with his family.
 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 30th, at 10:30 a.m. at New Bridge Baptist Church, 37 Wyatt Lane, Colora, Maryland. Lunch will be provided after the service in the church hall. All are welcome to join Robert's family and friends in this celebration of his life.
