Robert "Doil" Palmer, Jr.

Robert "Doil" Palmer, Jr, passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2023. He was born in Havre De Grace, Maryland, on April 14th , 1950, to the late Robert Doil, Sr. and Virona Gertrude Palmer (nee, Callahan).

Doil was a man of many hobbies but his favorites included drinking beer, watching westerns, hunting, and fishing. 

He was survived by his significant other Lisa Mudrock (Elkton, MD). He was the loving father of Cindy Palmer McGinnis (North East Maryland) and her husband Jeff. Jeffery Palmer (Edgewater, MD) and his wife Marcie. Doil was a loving grandfather to his grandchildren Shelley Garvine, Miranda Garvine, Riley Palmer, and Rory Palmer and step-grand children Jeffery McGinnis, Ashley McGinnis Herring, and Dillon McGinnis. He was the dear brother of Rose Palmer Taylor and Mike (Ocean City, MD), Robyn Palmer Devonshire and Terry (Rising Sun, Md), and Melissa Palmer Ward and Tom (Rising Sun, Md).

Along with his parents Doil was Preceded in death by his siblings Roger D Palmer (Rising Sun, MD) and Brenda Palmer Graybeal (Rising Sun, MD).

A celebration of life honoring Doil will be held at Our place at the bottom of the hill Bar, 325 w main street Rising Sun, MD, 21911, on Saturday, October 28th, at 1:00 pm.
