Nancy Sue McNatt was born March 12, 1948 in McDowell County W.V. at home, to Harvy Lee Williams and Gulfie Mexico (Davis) Williams.
She succumbed to heart and lung disease approximately nine months after her beloved husband, Warren “Buddy” McNatt, of fifty-seven years passed from cancer.
She is preceded in death by her husband “Buddy” and her parents.
Nancy was born in West Virginia but moved to Pennsylvania with her family in 1963. She graduated from Avon Grove high School in 1966 and eventually becoming a stay-at-home mom. Prior to that, she had a few jobs. On one of the jobs, she went on a “Blind Date” with a friend/ coworker’s brother. From that date onward, “Buddy” became a part of her life. In time, he eventually moved in with the whole family. They Married January 7, 1967.
In the mid 80’s, with her job of raising their son finished, she decided to return to the workforce by opening her own beauty salon at home. With forty years in the business, many of her customers became lifelong friends.
She is survived by her son, Warren Donald McNatt, Jr. Her siblings Willie (Marie) Williams of TN, Cordelia “Tom” ( Randy) Williams of TN, Linda Brown of TN, Marcus “Stevie” Williams of MD. Johnny ( Linda) Williams of PA. Stacy (Linda) Williams of TN., Jackie Williams of TN and many nieces of nephews.
Her beloved “Buddy” was her life. When he left this earth, she never really learned how to live without him. Now they will continue their journey together, hand in hand.
Rest in peace.
My loving mother
