Mark Emeroy Bishop

Mark Emeroy Bishop, 59, of Colora, Md. passed away Dec.17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after bravely battling cancer for 3 years. 

 

 He was born April 28, 1964 in Royersford, Pa., to the late Andrew A. Bishop and Sophie J.  (Slone) Bishop but was raised and lived in

 Colora, Md.  all his life.  He attended Rising Sun High School and graduated from Lincoln Tech trade school and was a highly regarded Master Mechanic at Martin's Mazda.

 

He enjoyed cooking and grilling for family and friends, swimming in his pool, watching the Eagles games and Friday night "library" runs.

He is survived by his wife Elaine Bishop,  step-children Rachel Charfauros ( Bob Hackler),  Jesse Catalina (deceased), grandchildren Tiffany Lawson, Niah Charfauros,  Gunner Taylor, and Jesse Catalina and 5 brothers and sisters.  Lucy Brakeall (John) Chadds Ford, Pa., Jean Coldiron ( Dale) Nottingham, Pa.,  Andrew A. Bishop Jr. (Lois) Elkton, Md., Elizabeth Bishop (John Corder) Aberdeen, Md. and Susan Price (Charlie) Port Deposit, Md.

 

Visitation will be held January 13, 2024 at 11am with a  Celebration of Life to follow at 11:30 am
