Linda Sue McCaffrey

Linda Sue McCaffrey, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by
loved ones on December 17th, 2024. She was born on August 14 th , 1953 in Princeton, WV, to
the late Florence Keffer. She moved to Delaware with her mom and siblings when she was
young. She was a retired medical secretary.
Linda was a woman of many interests and hobbies including crocheting, knitting and making
homemade presents for her family and friends.She loved her football and the best team, of
course, is the Philadelphia Eagles. She enjoyed going bowling and going for car rides while
listening to music. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her kids and many grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, Angelique (Jeff) of Aberdeen, David III (Petrina) of
Newark, Jessica of Nottingham and Corina (Chris) of Wilmington: her grandchildren, Joshua
(Taylor), Cody, Michael (Ashlyn), David IV, Sammi (Brian), Zachary (Ashley), Jackee, Sydney
(Jarett) Andrew Jr and Amber; great-grandchildren, Mara, Aiyana and Grayson, along with 2 ex
son in laws with whom she loved and was still very close to, Louis Brand and Andrew DuBois Sr. 

Along with her mother she was preceded in death by her 3 sisters; Sherry, Ella and Sandy as
well as her ex husband David Jr with whom she had a close bond with.

Following a private cremation a celebration of life will be held on January 11, 2025 from 12:30 to
3:30. All are welcome to attend. It will be held at: Post 6054 Charlton-Miller Post, 206 Spesuita
Rd, Aberdeen MD 21001. This will be a potluck celebration, as that’s the way she would have
liked it, so please bring a covered dish. It will be a cash bar; soda and water will be provided.
Her wish was for everyone to wear something Philadelphia Eagles as that was her favorite team.
In lieu of flowers ( as she hated flowers ) we are asking for donations to offset the cost of all that
