Henry Leo Pierson

Henry Leo Pierson, 55, of Rising Sun Maryland died peacefully at home on September 3rd after a courageous 6-year battle against cancer. He was born December 15th, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Alexis & the late Bonita Pierson.

  He was the loving husband of Jamie Myra Pippin-Pierson. Henry was survived by his daughter Jessica Mikaela Pippin- Pierson-Patton and her husband Christopher, his father “Butch” his brothers Brian and his wife Donna, Jeff and his wife Hilda, as well as his best friend Robert Stickley, Jr. and his wife Krissy. He had a village of extended family and friends that supported him as well as his love for and from his dogs. He was preceded in death by his mother Bonita.

Henry was employed for the last 20 years at Giant Foods where he had lots of friends and loving customers. He was a meatcutter by trade his whole life working at Santonis, Valu Food (where he met his wife 30 years ago) and Food Lion of Elkton.

​

He will be deeply missed.

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
