Eileen Frances Newton

Eileen Frances Newton, age 75, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Christiana Hospital.  She was born February 23, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland to Andrew and Ethel 'Marie' Mcnamara.  

 

Eileen's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.  She was a natural born caregiver to her family, friends and many beloved pets she had over the years.  Eileen loved animals, music, collecting tea pots and celebrating her Irish heritage.  Eileen loved the many conversations and laughs shared while picking steamed crabs with her family.  Eileen also enjoyed cherished traditions such as making gingerbread houses with her grandchildren.  

 

Eileen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Andrews; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Tammy Newton, grandchildren Mason Newton, Sommer Newton, Brooke Andrews and Savannah Andrews. As well as many of her children’s friends she thought of like her own over the years.

 

She was preceeded in death by her parents; and siblings Ronald McNamara, James McNamara, Patrick McNamara and Jean Shepard.
