Christopher Tavis Mayse

Christopher Tavis Mayse, passed away on October 27th, 2023. He was born on February 13th, 1970, to the late Tavis and Ethel Mayse (nee, Mullins).

Christopher was a man of many interests but his favorites included playing his guitar, fishing, and motorcycles. 

He was survived by his longtime companion, Beth Caffrey. Christopher was the loving father of Steven Mayse and his wife Rebecca (North Carolina) and Stephanie Ratliff (Havre De Grace MD). He was the dear brother of Kenneth Mayse and his wife Shelly, (Orlando, FL), Daryl Mayse and his wife Sharon (liberty Grove, MD) Rita Shepard ( Elkton, MD), Deborah Spevak (Elkton, MD) and Sherry Martin (Mifflintown, PA). Christopher was the beloved grandfather of 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Gracie Morse. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 

Along with his parents Christopher was preceded in death by his brother Donald Mayse

A funeral service honoring Christopher will be held at Conowingo Baptist Church, 151 Rock Springs Rd. Conowingo, Maryland on Friday, November 17th, at 12:00PM. With a visitation beginning at 11:00AM. A graveside service will follow at Garrison Forest Veteran Cemetery. The family will also welcome friend at the Newark VFW at 5:00PM for a celebration of life.
