Charles Constantine Ganoudis
August 11, 1955 – June 16, 2024
It is with heavy heart to announce the passing of our father Charles Constantine Ganoudis
(68) on June 16, 2024, at ChristianaCare Hospice after a short battle with cancer. Charles was
born on August 11, 1955, to Charles and Hope Ganoudis in Wilmington Delaware.
Charles attended Terry Park Hight School in Jacksonville Florida where he graduated in
1973. He went on to study Criminology at Tallahassee Community College in Florida. Charles
pursued his criminology studies and became a Private Investigator for a short time. In addition,
he started a career as a meat cutting at Pantry Pride Supermarkets. Charles moved to Elkton
Maryland in 1987 to help out in the family business at North Street Hotel. He later went back to
meat cutting at Safeway Supermarkets where he was known by customers and friends as the
“Meat Man”.
Charles was active in the Shriners club and the Master Masons in Florida for many years.
He loved the water; he became a boat captain and would assist the Panama City Coast Guard in
rescuing families in need during turbulent waters. His greatest passion was riding Harley
Davidson Motorcycles.
Charles is predeceased by his mother Hope C. Nickolson Ganoudis and his father Charles
E. Ganoudis. He is survived by one daughter Alexis Hope Ware of Elkton Maryland, one son
Charles Robert Ganoudis of Elkton Maryland, two grandchildren Zayne Ganoudis and Zaryah
Ware, and one brother Christopher Ganoudis of St. Augustine Florida. In addition, he leaves
behind many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Charles requested a celebration of life to be held in honor him as opposed to traditional
funeral services. We request all of Charles’ loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating his
life at Pine Grove at 2205 Oldfield Point Rd, Elkton, MD on June 29, 2024, from 1-3 pm. We
request if you ride a motorcycle to please attend the celebration of life in honor of Charles.
