Benjamin Nelson Dillard

On April 24, 2024, the world lost a bit of light. Benjamin Dillard, 41, reached the end of his courageous battle with multiple medical issues.

 

He is survived by his mother (Janice), his father (Jack), his brother (Ian Haneke), and his sister (Sarah). He also has several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Haneke, in 2017.

During his 41 years, 1 month, and 1 day on this earth, Ben touched many lives. Whether it was the friends he made in the Boy Scouts as a child and teen, fellow actors and actresses in performances in the Annapolis area, high school friends who remained life-long friends, or the many friends he made after moving to Cecil County, many people were blessed with Ben’s presence, humility, sincerity, and loyalty. Ben was an absolutely amazing, bright, and loving man.

 

He will be dearly missed by many and his memory carried on by all who loved him.
