Angel Alston

Angel Alston, age 38, was born in Wilmington, Delaware on July 5,
1986.

She grew up in Port Penn, Delaware and has also lived in New York and
California. She has spent her most recent years with her family in
Elkton, Maryland.

Angel went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2024.
Angel was very artistic and loved drawing and painting. She also
displayed her creativity in her beautiful home décor. She enjoyed
planting flowers and gardening, and could fix just about anything.
She loved her many dogs and bred beautiful Cane Corso Mastiffs.
Angel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Care and was in the
process of completing studies for her MBA. She had a special place in
her heart for those struggling with addiction and spent many years
working in the recovery field.

Angel loved her family fiercely, and was a devoted mother to her
beloved daughters, Samiah Jae Alston (13) and Joslyn Inez Alston (11),
who survive her. She is also survived by her husband, Joshua Alston; her
parents, Inez and Edward Arrowood; sister, Jacqueline Harris; sister- in-
law, Linda Hannas; nephew, Theron (TJ) Arrowood; niece, Lilyanna
Arrowood; maternal grandmother, Ann Wolf and numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal
grandparents, Eddie and Alma Arrowood and maternal grandfather,
Jack Wolf, and her beloved brother, Theron Joseph (Joey) Arrowood.

 

A memorial service will be held at Christ the Cornerstone Church, 3135
Summit Bridge Road, Bear, Delaware 19701 on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
Visitation from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
